Research Pellets

Developing bio-related businesses using hydroxyapatite

We handle general-purpose pellets and cell culture carriers using the bioceramic “hydroxyapatite”, which is composed of the same composition as human bone and is extremely biocompatible. The general-purpose pellet “Apatite Pellet” is used for each user’s research application, such as dental research, cell culture, and toothpaste research.

Distributor: Cosmo Bio Co., Ltd.

Product Overview

Product Name: Apatite Pellet (Unsterile)

NameSize (mm)Number of pieces (pieces)
apatite pellet APP-10010×10×210
apatite pellet APP-610φ13×210

These pellets are made by molding hydroxyapatite into squares and circles and sintering them. It can be used for cell culture, tooth models, toothbrushes, toothpaste studies, cariogenic bacteria adhesion experiments, albumin adsorption evaluation, laser ablation substrates, tooth adhesion evaluation, and apatite standards.

forte

  • It is of the same quality as medical bone filling materials.
  • It is a dense sintered material with a purity of 99% or more and a relative density of 99% or more.
  • It can be sterilized at high temperatures and pressures by autoclave. (121°C, 20 minutes)
  • Cells can be stained using common methods such as HE staining and toluidine blue staining.
  • Surface hardness. The quality of surface roughness and texture is stable.
